Thank the intrepid VS for making this available. I saw this theatrically about ten years ago, using (I thought) the best print around. The projectionist had to stop and repair several times during screening. Anyway this disc is fantastic! Stunning quality. Kudos for finding what was undoubtedly the last workable print on earth. I'm frankly (pleasantly so) shocked at how great it looks. Great film - especially for those with a taste for the offbeat. This film is truly one of a kind. Weird, wild and Wonderful. And, of course, genuinely sexy and erotic - this isn't what some might refer to as "dirty." Though the scenarios are...offbeat? Think of a Bill Ward or Eric Stanton live-action comic book adaptation.Written and directed by the elusive Raphael Nussbaum. His only other credit (that I'm aware of) is The Female Bunch, a Lee Frost/Bob Cresse-esque roughie/western penned for Al Adamson. (It's included on the amazing Severin Films Al Adamson doc. Also recommend!)Famously, Quentin Tarantino modeled the Bridget Fonda character in Jackie Brown: the clothes, hair, the insouciant attitude that the fellas dig. And, of course, Fonda's doorbell reads...RIALSON!
