My dog’s attitude changes as soon as hops up into it like she’s a queen in the front seat! Could fit 2 of her in it!I had to buy a separate belt to attach her to seatbelt as the one the comes with it didn’t make much sense for securing her from being thrown forward in accident.I thought it was easy to put together but my friend tried before I did and he angrily gave up after 10 min lolMy dog had pretty bad anxiety about being in the car until I bought this. Now he can lay comfortably and securely in the car. He even drags me over to my car when we go outside because he actually likes going places now. He can also see everything that’s going on since it’s a booster seat. I will recommend one of these for every person I know they has a smaller dog for the rest of time. Was easy to assemble. Wished there was more padding in seat area but we bought a small throw pillow and it fit nicely. Our 22 lbs docterrior fit perfectly with room to lay down. I think she really likes being able to see out the window when she is in it. It's a keeper!!Not too hard to install as long as you look at the pictures in the directions. It’s a large booster seat for my toy sized puppy. I put a blanket over the top to keep it clean. But as you can see my baby Shih tzu is sitting high and sleeping real comfortable in it. I will say the price is ridiculously high for it being just a bunch of plastic and a couple of cheap fabric pieces. I only agreed to buy because I received it half off. But even half off is still a lot and probably the most I’d consider paying for this.Sturdy, looks like it’s gonna last forever, some improvements would help.Only two recommendations, the fluffy pillow that you see and the dog sits on is fine, however it sits on a rigid hard plastic platform that is not terribly comfortable to sit on I am certain. I am going to try and find an additional sheet of 1/2 - 3/4” foam to put under it for additional comfort. Can’t ask the dog so just going by personal field. The second item I would recommend would be some type of a swivel connection to your dogs harness. Because my dog tended to walk in circles in the bed area and the strap and carabiner on the end just twisted tighter and tighter getting shorter and shorter the longer the dog used it. A simple swivel connection somewhere on that harness would illuminate that problem. Wanna additional note, the sides that contain the dog or not soft or cushy in any way. Rigid plastic all around covered by a couple of layers of fabric with no cushioning. Once the dog learns to use it it would not be a problem but it’s not soft. Other than that, super sturdy and when she built it in it will not move. Very happy with my purchase. After searching for the perfect dog seat I finally found it ! My Doxie is 16 lbs and pretty long and it fits him nicely, I can buckle him in and he can safely look out the window , he loves sitting up high. I also feel it fits snuggly in the back of my Camry and feels solid and safe , unlike some of the other cheap ones out there that you have to wrap around the seat .. my only complaint is the cheap pillow , so I added a little extra Cushing . Buy this one for your pet if you want to keep them safe !I bought this “seat” for my Border Terrier, Rufus because he started whining when we were in the car. He didn’t whine if he was on your lap but then that negated the point of his harness & seatbelt. We figured it may have been because he couldn’t see out the window & was feeling carsick. We thought we’d take a chance on this booster seat which, if I’m honest I thought seemed expensive for what it was & I am SO glad we did! Rufus hasn’t whined once in the car & he has had several outings, some of which were quite lengthy in duration. It would be worth the money just for the quiet alone but the booster seat is very well made & obviously comfy too. I would feel safe having him in this seat, attached by his harness if we had to brake suddenly. Rufus is one of the bigger build Borders & he fits in nicely (as you can see in the photo) he was laying down flat diagonally in it & I feel confident in saying he could curl up in this if he wanted to. I would definitely recommend this booster seat to anyone who has a Whiney/car sick dog. It’s a thumbs up?? from me and a definite two paws up ? from Rufus! The answer to all my problems. Purchased this for my miniature dachshund who until now would try any trick in the book to escape restraints and find a way to get to me in the front of the car. Bad enough when travelling with someone, a nightmare on solo journeys. The solvit has done exactly that, she is now a very happy little puppy as she can see what's going on outside the car while still being safely secured, not a danger to me or herself. Easy to construct, it does take up the full front seat space but that's not an issue for me, I'm glad I got the jumbo one and she has enough space to lounge and sleep in it when she's not watching the world go by. Would definitely recommend and this has solved what other products had failed to. Happy puppy happy mummy bearOkay, so technically my dog hasn't test driven this yet, but I am going to give it a 5 star rating in advance!I previously ordered the XL of the same brand which was half the depth of this and hung off the top of the car seat. This actually boosts your dog up higher than the hanging version and gives your job room to be able to face forwards or sit/lay down comfortably whilst looking in the direction that you are driving. It looks the same as the other version - so pretty stylish. It also comes with a pillow with fleece on one side and material on the other - whichever your dog prefers or woolly for winter/cotton for summer lol.The only think I would say is the plastic (like the other) is a little hard so may catch their body if you brake hard. I've ordered some swimming pool noodles to run around the rim in a Blue Peter effort to make it more comfortable lol.Providing this doesn't fall apart soon, I think this is a good product. A little on the expensive side if anything. But enjoyable for dogs.Bought this seat after much research and now we have it, it’s absolutely brilliant. My westie loves travelling in it. He comes with us on lots of short and long journeys in the back of our Mini Countryman, and this seat allows him to see out the window without stretching and also snuggle down to sleep too. Also pleased that there is an anchor clip for added safety. You can see from the photo how happy he is in it.The best dog car seat I've bought. So easy to put together, the seat is secured with the seatbelt which is what I wanted. My wee dog has plenty of room to lay down or sit up and take in the views while in the car. She loves to nosey out the window. This seat makes her able to do that.Having the tether that clips to her harness is great, she is very secure and also has some scope to move. The tether at the other end is also secured with the seatbelt for added safety. The cover and wee cushion that comes with the seat, is easily removed to be washed when needed.
