I can see why no one at my school ever talks about using this book. The cases are ok but nearly all the questions involve one step reasoning, so are not very helpful for Step 1 and probably wouldn't have been helpful for the rote memorization required for my basic science course exams. I did finish the book but in retrospect I think it probably was not a high yield use of the time it took to get through it.I am an MS3 have have used case files for shelf exams and these books for the clinical aspects of med school have been good but this one, not so much. Kaplan 2010 Step 1 Biochem videos were a better use of time than this book.
