Perfect for my BIG maine coon cat. He can scramble up quickly to escape the psycho puppy. Nice firm sponge like material w smooth velvety cover. Not exactly cheap but I think worth the price...and meowy nice.Would be ok for small dog, but unstable for my medium pup.. foam gives too much and it’s lightweight allows it to easy move on hardwood floor. ( might be better on carpet). I gave it away and looking for heavier option. My older doggie loves these stairs! Plus there easy to clean and just the right size! The steps have a run about 7.5" deep and a rise of 6". It took a little bit of time for our ~16 pound dog to use it. The foam is dense enough to support his weight on his paws as he goes up or hops down. The two step stairs is just right to help my dog get up on his favorite office chair that's right beside my bed.One area of concern with ours is either the foam blocks is a bit too big or the cover is a bit too small. The cover at the middle of the steps pulls a bit not allowing it to lay flat making a concern that it may tear from the dog going up and down the stairs. We spent some time adjusting the foam trying to fix it which helped a bit. Looking at the product photos some of them do show this same issue too.So I got this for my cat. He’s 12 and while he’s taller than most smaller dogs, my poor guy is going blind and he has difficulty jumping up on things when he can’t estimate the distance. I wanted something that was small enough it could sit beside the bed without taking up too much room. So what did we think?Stair height: At 16.5 inches in total height, it’s almost high enough for the bed and with each step 5.5 inches in height, it works well for him while the girls have to hop up.How well it works: It’s made of foam, so while it’s firm, there’s a certain amount of give to it, which he wasn’t super happy about, but once I showed him how to use it, he’s slowly getting it. The girls took to it much faster, but they’re also more adventurous and don’t have any vision issues.Cover: It says it’s washable, but I haven’t tried it yet.Overall: So, it’s not folding since it’s made from foam. You can unzip the cover and then move the step foam piece wherever you need, but saying that it’s folding stairs is a misnomer. That said. It took a bit to get him to use it, but now that he knows it’s there, he seems to like it. He still jumps off the bed, but I think that eventually, he’ll learn to use it both going up and down from the bed, so long as I don’t move it around. I suspect smaller dogs will appreciate this more than the finicky feline.Easy to set up greatheight. Not enough depth in steps dogs not used to running upThis is a review for: Friends Forever Milo Folding Dog Stairs for Indoor, Premium Foam Pet Steps, Safe, Comfortable, Helpful for Smaller and Older Pets, Machine Washable Removable CoverOur bed is about 72cm / 28 inches tall and our dog / cats sometimes have trouble jumping up.We did get a ottoman but as our pets get older, even that has been getting a bit iffy for their joints. We got the 4-steps model which is perfect for the bed.Our dog is around 15lbs and the size is perfect for him and he had no issues using it from day 1.He's still young so he jumps 2 steps at a time. It is definitely sturdy enough (though it is foam, so pets that are heavier may sink in a bit). The only negative I could think of is that it doesn't have a grippy bottom so on wooden floors, it may shift if not careful.Overall, it is a good quality pet step that is easy to assemble (just zip the two parts together!) and easy for pets to use.I ordered these for my dog, I figured he would use them but nope' He wont have any part of it. Maybe some day. These are made from foam and are pretty sturdy. If your dog has trouble getting on the couch or bed these might help. More landfill material'
