Wonderful price for a very good item! Just the right size for our Morkie and Maltese puppies. I use them starting at 4 month & 3 months. Its been two months and the bowls still look spanking new :-) I use it for their dry dog food so I don't wash it religiously every day. Maybe about once a week. It washes well. I scrub the inside, but not the outside of the bowl (some owner said the paint comes off so I'm more careful of that) or the bottom (just sort of swish it under the water). However, I have inside dogs, so I can't comment on the durability of outdoor usage.I had bought 3 of these. One larger that is use for water. I can comment that bowl has been chewed and scratch one (that's how they demand water from me) and so far no markings inside or outside (I try to not let them chew on it though -- it only gets to that point when they decided that if I won't give them water then it's gonna be their toy ;-)With care, I think these bowls will last a long time, so long that you'll probably change them out cause you're bored with them!
